Repeat Prescriptions

pills3Patients who are on repeat medication can order their monthly prescription in the following ways:

  1. By posting your repeat prescription to us with a stamped addressed envelope for return
  2. By calling in to the surgery and dropping the repeat slip off for collection in 48 hours
  3. On-line via the link at the top of this page
  4. By telephoning the surgery  Monday to Friday between 10.30hrs and13.00hrs on (01636) 673646, ensuring you have all your required details to hand

Please use option 1, 2 or 3 where possible. If you can avoid option 4 this helps keep telephone lines free for urgent problems.  If you have any prescription queries you may call in at the surgery to speak to the prescription clerk between 08.30hrs and 10.30hrs and 14.00hrs and 16.45hrs.

Any patient receiving repeat medication will need to be reviewed by the doctor or nurse at least once a year. Without this review we cannot continue to issue your prescription.

We always have prescriptions ready for collection after two working days. If, however, you have your prescription collected by a chemist, you may need to liaise with the pharmacist to see if any additional time is required on their behalf.
